I put the Gen-Y hitch on right before a long trip, and it really made the ride feel a lot smoother. My truck and trailer don’t jerk around nearly as much anymore, especially on rougher roads. It did take me a little bit to get used to it, but overall I’m really happy with it. wish I had bought one sooner.

I was surprised how quickly it got here. I blame whoever runs this for making me expect super fast shipping now.

I’ll be honest, I ordered from Geny Hitch mostly because I was trying to avoid buying the wrong hitch and dealing with returns. I wasn’t really expecting the fitment info to be that helpful, but it actually pointed me to the right setup for my truck and trailer height.

The box showed up in good shape and everything inside was wrapped really well. There was a small dent on one corner, but nothing was damaged at all, which was a nice relief. i was happy with how securely it was packed.

The only thing I’d say is the shipping updates could’ve been a little clearer, but everything else was good overall.

The hitch itself seems fine, but installing it was way more frustrating than I expected. The instructions weren’t very clear, and I ended up having to redo a couple steps, which really slowed everything down. I figured I’d knock it out quickly and still have time for the rest of my day, but nope, there went my afternoon. Not the worst product, but the install definitely ruined my plans.

Ive used my Gen-Y hitch on a few trips now and its been really smooth. There is way less bounce compared to my old setup, and getting it hooked up was simple too. Im giving it 4 stars just because the price felt a bit high, but as far as performance goes, its been solid.

I was a little unsure at first since the price was reasonable, but after using it for a bit, I’d say it’s better than I expected. The build feels solid, it fit without any real hassle, and shipping only took a few days or so. For around what I paid, it feels like a good deal. I’d probably order from genyhitch.com again
